Good Morning everyone,
Well here we go I am so excited to share my news with you all
I have been dying to tell you but we had to keep it a secret.
Get comfy and grab a cuppa and some biscuits lol and get ready for some fun!!!
Here We Go!!
Welcome to the very special Make it Crafty Tea Party!
Today, I'm joining the fun
with a collection of Make it Crafty fans from around the world,
serving you a delicious array of crafty delights
to celebrate not only the magical release of ‘Alice in Wonderland’
but also Make it Crafty’s THIRD Birthday!!
What better way to celebrate than a tea party full of Make it Crafty fans?
As you chase the white rabbit down holes,
through small doors,
around corners and more…
keep your eye out for hidden letters,
collecting them along the way.
Simply decipher the ‘question’ and then enter the answer at the end of the hop
for a chance to win the grand prize!
It wouldn't be a fun tea party without hidden prizes along the way,
so make sure you comment
as you chase the rabbit for a chance to win more prizes!
------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------
Hopefully you've found your way through the door from Zoe,
but if you've just fallen down the hole then you might want to start back at Zoe.
------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------
The guests were given the option to play with 6 images from the new collection
and I chose to get creative with two images...
Sweet Alice and Alice & Rabbit
This is Sweet Alice
I chose to make a scene with her and have teamed her up with
one of the Make it Crafty digi stamps which I had bought a while ago
and shame to say not got round to using it yet so this was the perfect opportunity
and that stamp is called Cobblestone Path
This is also the 1st time I have done a sky background
and I think it came out ok ? What do you think ?
I have used Copics as my coloring medium and here is the list of colors I used
B00, BG000, B02, B24, B23 ,B28, G21, G99, YG63 ,0,
C-7,C-5,C-3,C-1 ,B60, E21, E29 ,E25, W-0, W-1, Y28, R20, Y35, Y06, Y08,
BV08, E000, E50, Y21, E53, Y38
I chose not to use any Background Papers as I wanted the focus of this card
to be on the gorgeous digi stamp
so my base card and blue card is from the Papermill
and I have used a Martha Stewart Border Punch to give a little bit of embellishment.
For my 2nd card I chose to use Alice & White Rabbit
I have used Copics again here is the list
E57, E51, YR02, YR04, C-0, C-1, C-2, C-3, C-5, C-7, W-0, W-1, W-2, W-3,
B00, B02, B05, R11, E000, E02, E53, E50
My backing card, Blue card and Brown card are from the Papermill,
Background Paper is by Starlight Design Blok 5
Ribbon is from my stash and I have made the Chocolate Box Bow
The pearl brad in the middle of the bow is from Papermania
The Corner Flourishes and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The Butterfly and touches of glitter are from my Stash
Here is a close up of the stamp you might be able to see the glitter more clearly
The fun doesn't stop here and if you head through this door you’ll find your way to Sally
I have had so much fun with these two gorgeous images
and can't wait to see all of the new release collection,
So what are you waiting for keep hopping
and you will see lot's of the fab new releases along the way.
